Hawthornes Lodge Care Home
Hawthorns Residential Home is located in Loftus, a small village in Cleveland. The charming building consists of 13 bedrooms and homely communal spaces. Hawthorns and Hawthorns Lodge provide residential and dementia care to the Redcar and Cleveland area.
Hawthorns Lodge is a purpose-built residential care home, on the same site as the original Hawthorns Residential Home.
Hawthorns Lodge has 20 en suite bedrooms, all located on the ground floor. Communal living areas are decorated with comfort in mind.
The homes are surrounded by mature gardens, providing a secure outside space for residents to enjoy activities in the fresh air. All staff at Hawthorns and Hawthorns Lodge are trained to provide the highest levels of care. Residents are encouraged to live as independently as possible, and make their accommodation their own.
Hawthorns Lodge and Residential Home is spilt into two buildings. Hawthorns Lodge is 20-bedded ground floor care home which was built in 2007. Hawthorns Residential Home is a 15-bedded unit which has bedrooms on the ground floor and first floor. The homes provide residential care for individuals living with disabilities and impairment. Accommodation is on the ground floor to support mobility needs and en-suite rooms are standard. Residents are supported to be independent and support is compassionate and empathetic.
The local GP surgery is adjacent and the home has a visiting chiropodist, dentist and hairdresser who are all insured and DBS checked.
